Players Coalition Supports Maryland’s Limiting Automatic Charging of Youth as Adults

Players Coalition “exists to end social injustices and racial inequality so future generations have the opportunity to thrive without barriers.” Players Coalition has been supporting youth justice advocacy since 2018.
Please see today’s post from Players Coalition, supporting the passage of Maryland’s SB 323, which would limit the automatic transfer of youth to adult court. The act has now been passed by both the Senate and the House and is on its way to the Governor’s office!
We are so grateful to Torrey Smith for lifting up this critical issue, and for the Maryland Youth Justice Coalition for pushing for this change in Maryland and supporting youth rights.
